ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for certification with CCIBP, a business or entity must satisfy the following requirements.
STUDY AND REVIEW
Study and review instructions CCIBP Handbook on how to apply, eligibility criteria and other requirements.
INITIAL APPLICATION
Return the completed application with appropriate fee, a cover letter that outlines how you meet the initial eligibility criteria must accompany the application with the signature of owner(s) or individual professional.
CCIBP is committed to collaborating with the businesses and/or individual professionals in effecting a smooth and deliberate path toward meeting criteria and attaining a certification status.
SELF-EVALUATION REPORT
The self-evaluation report is the most important part of the process of certification and must be considered a major effort of the business/professional. It is not an endeavor that can be completed quickly. It requires time and careful planning. The self-evaluation report provides the business with the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of its operation.
Upon receipt of the application and the eligibility of an institution has been verified it is sent the self-evaluation report for completion. There are two self-evaluation report deadlines each year in preparation for the 4 council meetings each year. Check the CCIBP calendar for specific dates.
CERTIFICATION WORSKHOP AND EXAM
Initial and recycle applicants are required to attend a CCIBP Workshop and Exam prior to submission of the self-evaluation. Check the CCIBP calendar for specific dates.
The Certification Workshop provides an overview of CCIBP certification process as well as evaluation visit preparation and procedures. The Certification Workshop is required for all businesses or professionals applying for a renewal of certification.

- Provide 3 letters of recommendation from well-known business, professionals or/and organization.
CCIBP COUNCIL REVIEW
All documents and materials pertinent to an certification are reviewed by the appropriate council of CCIBP. This group will make a recommendation to CCIBP president if the evaluation file is complete.
Councilors are provided businesses/professionals self-evaluation report, team reports, and its response to the team reports. Results are provided within 1-2 weeks of the meeting.
CCIBP DECISION
CCIBP action to accredit or renew certification or not to do so, or otherwise condition the grant of certification, is determined only following review of relevant institution information and report by committee.
Maintain Certification
To maintain Certification, business or individual CCIBP certificate holders must demonstrate that any relevant and appropriate continuing education courses (CE), seminars or training undertaken from CCIBP education and training department or any legitimate organization/corporation or an accredited/recognized university or institution.
